Register for the 2009 NCLA Season

PALC 2009 Registration

If you want to play for the Palo Alto Lacrosse Club, you need to do a few things:

  1. Subscribe to the palax Yahoo! Group
  2. Get a US Lacrosse Organization membership as a player or multi-type (player/coach, player/ref or player/coach/ref)
  3. Get a Google account (no, you don't need a Gmail address to have a Google account - you can use your current email as the primary address, but don't add the GMail service)
  4. Sign the PALC roster form

Below are the details and links to help you accomplish these tasks.

Subscribe to the palax Yahoo Group

The palax Yahoo! Group is a PA Lacrosse Club general interest alias. It is for current players (active or inactive), alumni and fans. Team events like when the season starts, tournaments and upcoming game are announced on this group. If not already a member of this group, you should subscribe to it so that you are still in the loop when you become an inactive player. To subscribe, use the above link or send an email to palax-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and explain your reasons for joining the group and how you came to find the team.

US Lacrosse Organization Membership (Enroll/Update)

The USLO membership is how the team and the league pay for liability insurance. You must have an active US Lacrosse Organization membership to play for the PALC, in the NCLA or pretty much anything that has to do with lacrosse. The PALC roster registration form requires your member # and expiration date which will be validated by the league. If you are registered as a coach or referee, you must also be registered as a player which costs a little more than just single coverage.

2009 Roster Registration Form

This is a Google Form that must be filled out to become eligible to play for Palo Alto Lacrosse Club in the 2009 NCLA regular season. You do NOT need a Google account to use the Google form.

New Google Account

The Google account is how PALC handles most of its communication and administration through Google Groups, Forms, Documents and whatever else the Google geeks create to make running the team easier. Every active player of the PALC must have a Google account. If you have a Gmail account as your primary personal email, then you are all set. If you don't have a Gmail account, there is no need to get one. You can create a Google account and use your current primary email address.
