Palo Alto Lacrosse Club

I recently joined the board of the Northern California Chapter of US Lacrosse and had the privilege to speak with two former Palo Alto Lacrose Club presidents: Hank Malloy ('73-'76) and Herb Finger ('77-'81). Hank recently stepped down as president of the NorCal chapter (congratulations to Heidi Faith as our new president) and Herb Finger has been and still is the chapter's treasurer.

Before the meeting was called to order, I was able to pick their brains about PA's succession of command and hear stories about the glory days of post-collegiate club lacrosse in Northern California. Hank had the picture above on his laptop and promises to send more from his picture archives.

We ended with talks of getting the local alumni of all the club teams together for a game.
