With the popularity of the Tahoe tourment growing, It was rumored that the traditional tournament location of Incline Village, NV (next to the Hilton) would have to be abandoned for larger venue, perhaps as suggested by many, somewhere in Truckee.
The rumor is not true. Once again, the tournament will be squeezed in next to the Hilton. Although the field space is tight, parking is scarce, and the neighborhood residents and authorities are growing less and less impatient with every year that passes, the location is conveniently located next to the lake and in the middle of many lodging options, gambling, restaurants, and tourist activities.
Kudos to Curt Wegener, tourney director, for making it all happen for the 18th year in a row.
